By popular demand after the Iowa FLL Championship last week, we’re publishing the NXT vs. RCX videos online. Please feel free to tell you friends about it too - we’d love to have them spread all over the place!
We just concluded our closing ceremonies here in Ames. As I type this, teams are still packing up and leaving Ames.
Update: I’ve moved the awards listing to a separate page and posted the match scores. You can check them both our under FLL >> Iowa Championship, or with the links below.

Tournament day is here! We hope you are all as excited as we are to kick off this year’s Iowa Championship. Here at ISU, we are all busy getting everything set up for you, the teams, to have a great day. We can’t wait to see what you all have done with Nano Quest this year. As a general reminder, the main goal for the tournament is for you all to have fun - don’t worry about how many missions your robot can do! No matter what, we want you all to attend and just have fun!
Some other brief reminders: Team check-in will be from 8:00 to 8:30 in Howe Hall. Only the team’s head coach should check them in - NOT PARENTS! There will be a coaches meeting at 8:30 for one coach from each team to attend, then opening ceremonies at 9:00 AM. Regardless of weather, we can not cancel or delay the event. We’ve already started setup!
For any friends or family that may not be able to attend the championship in Ames, we will again be broadcasting the event onto the web! Below are some directions for accessing the webcast tomorrow. We hope you’ll pass this information on to anyone who might be interested.
