Since we’re pretty close to the tournament (12 days!) it is time to post the official tournament schedules and program. There is still a chance that the judging and table schedules will change, but any changes will be minor. There will be plenty of copies of both the schedule and program available at the event, we just want you all to be aware of them in advance.

Caution: The program is VERY big, and may take a long time to download if you are on a slow internet connection.

Just a couple more details for teams regarding the upcoming FLL Championship:

1. All participants (FLL & JFLL) must have their parents complete and turn in a consent/release form to attend the tournament. You can download the release form at the link below.  If you have problems viewing the Consent Form, please make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded from Adobe.
2. We are accepting nominations for the Grace Murray Hopper award. Details about this award and instructions for nominations are available in the document below.

Teams -

For those of you considering staying in a hotel in Ames the night before the tournament, we’ve prepared a list of hotels available in Ames.  We’ve also confirmed that the Heartland Inn will offer FLL teams a price of $69.99/night for the weekend of the event.  You will need to mention that you are with FIRST LEGO League to get that rate.

As a reminder, we will be holding the championship on the 20th REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER!  We have tons of cool stuff reserved for that day, so we CANNOT change the event date.  We’ll have more details for you all soon!
