Iowa FLL Team Start Up Grants – Microsoft and ChangeX
Exciting news for Iowa FIRST® LEGO® League – the Microsoft Community Challenge facilitated by ChangeX has chosen Des Moines as a location for their community grant efforts of $75,000, and Iowa FLL programs (Discover, Explore and Challenge) are three of their chosen programs to receive grants!
Today is the launch of the Microsoft Community Challenge for Des Moines. The Microsoft Community Challenge will mobilize community-led action across Des Moines and the surrounding counties. Sponsored by the Microsoft Datacenter Community Development Team and facilitated by ChangeX.org, local community members can apply to start one of 12 established and impactful ideas across the areas of digital skills, environmental sustainability, and community prosperity; getting the resources, seed funding, and support needed to start one of these projects in their local community.
