Steps to Becoming a Volunteer

• STEP 1:

  Register with FIRST

  Create an account in the FIRST Dashboard by tapping HERE.

  If you already have a FIRST account, you can skip to Step 4.

  Finish setting up your account before continuing. Detailed instructions on how to do this can be found in the video above.

• STEP 2:

  Go to your email

  Go to your email and click the link sent to you by FIRST.

  Follow the instructions within the link.

• STEP 3:

  Finish your profile

  Finish setting up your account before continuing. Detailed instructions on how to do this can be found in the video above.

• STEP 4:

  Apply to Volunteer at the FIRST LEGO League Iowa State Championship

  While you are logged into your FIRST Dashboard account page, click on this link to directly apply to volunteer for the State Championship. You can also find this application page by going to your FIRST Dashboard, clicking on the “Volunteer Registration” tab at the top, and clicking the “Event Volunteering” button on the left side of the page. This will allow you to search for events in Iowa. .

• STEP 5:

  Wait for us to contact you!

  We will contact you as the event gets closer so you can complete a few steps specific to volunteering with youth on the campus of Iowa State University.
